THG was born from my own experience over the last year. A 2025 DIY bride myself and hobbyist photographer, I went through hundreds of incredible artists before finding someone my fiancé and I both had an undeniable connection with.

I’ve kept that curated, yet extensive list of photographers from my own search in hopes of using it to help others narrow theirs. We found ours, now let’s find yours.

Meet Esther

Photography has been a mainstay in my life ever since I used the entirety of my Bat Mitzvah money on my first Nikon, but I never knew it could be more than a hobby until I got engaged last year and began this journey.

After majoring in Media Studies in college, my visual inclination and slightly micro-managerial mind led me to my career as a Creative Producer in the advertising industry, where I have been working for the last 7 years.

As parents and coworkers alike can attest, I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I’ve been known to make my family retake photos over and over until they’re great, so I certainly wasn’t going to take the decision for our wedding photographer lightly.

Between work and wedding planning, I spend my days perfecting my gluten-free cookies, hiking with my fiancé, bingeing true crime, and baking more cookies as I continue my quest for the world’s best chocolate,
